This notice explains how Claresto ("we") handles personal data collected through the Claresto free accessibility scanner.
If you choose to unlock the full report, we collect your email address and the website address you scanned. We do not require any other personal information to use the tool.
We use your email, with your consent, to show and send you your accessibility report and to send occasional accessibility tips and product updates. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before submitting your email.
We store and send email using Brevo, a GDPR-compliant email service acting as our data processor. Your email is held on their platform on our behalf.
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed from our mailing list within a reasonable period.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. You also have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@claresto.co.uk.
The scanner only reads the public web page at the address you provide. It does not log in, make changes, or collect data about your site's visitors.
